We are on our way through IL after spending the holidays with family and just stopped at this location to stretch, walk around the store with our little kid, and grab a cup of coffee to go. After placing our order and waiting about 10 minutes without receiving our beverages, the host approached us and asked if we had received our drinks. When we said we hadn’t, he quickly handled the situation himself, getting us large coffees with cream and sugar. When we asked for our tab, he told us it was on the house and apologized for the wait. We were so surprised and thankful for his kindness. We’ll definitely be stopping at this restaurant again on future road trips!

I've been a customer of Cracker Barrel most of my life. Never have I been disappointed until today. 5 of us including my parents had breakfast and not 1 of us had a meal that was enjoyable. 3 of us had cold oatmeal, mom's fruit wasn't good, dad's eggs were like rubber. All of this after we had to set our own tabe. Cracker Barrel used to be my first choice, can't say it will be in the future. It's a sad day
So far not so good. Waited 15 minutes to even be noticed by our server. Only problem with that is there were only 3 tables in her area. Hope the food is outstanding cause the service so far sucks. Update: forgot half of the order as well. Worst Cracker Barrel I have ever at at. Would have been better off eating breakfast at the hotel.
If eating bread and pancakes it's ok I guess, just over priced for eggs and bacon. Waffle house on the same trip beat them hands down for service, food and price.
