When we got up this morning the room across from us was open and the beds were being stripped and new sheets were being put on. There was also another room down the hall that was being cleaned by a two team cleaning crew. They spoke to us and asked us if everything was to our liking. They were very nice.

After traveling for 5 hours, we stopped last night and got a room at 4am. The attendant was helpful and got use checked in pretty quick. I have a read a lot of the reviews and they are back and forth. So let me put it like this... This is an older hotel. The rooms had furniture that looked like it had been then from 1992. However, there was a small fridge, a small microwave, and the room we had was very spacious! The room, while older looking, was clean. There was a very large bathroom with a walk-in shower, and it was clean. The hotel was quite other than the occasional sound of water running. There wasn't great water pressure, but the water was hot.

Beds we're made, washcloth was stained, coffee pot was dirty with mold, smoke detector was broken, mildew above AC, carpets disgusting, mold and dirt around tub and walls. Breakfast was a joke, at 7am one donut, a bagel, no coffee or juice. No cereal. Talked to Manager and they said, people visiting for eclipse and rooms didn't get put on dirty list. No refund, only excuses. Avoid at all costs!

The pool was closed for remodeling, but I didn't stop to check.

I would give this 0 stars if possible. The place is under new management and is under construction but still. The place was a complete mess inside with moldy walls behind where the carpet runners used to be. We checked into three rooms before we got one where the card key would open the door. The gentleman at the front desk was nice, but he was having a hard time with such outdated equipment. There are no public bathrooms up front and no fire alarm connected in our room (213). The carpet is stained and the furniture is outdated and nasty with more stains than the carpet. There is a construction crew working on the dining room so I am skeptical of having breakfast here with the mess in the front lobby. And the pool has been closed for some Time, though is still lists it as an amenity on the website. With all the room changing we did not end up getting the bed we requested and just dealt with it so we could get settled after a long check in.

Long story short, avoid at all possible until they tear this place apart and have it back together. If we weren’t already unloaded with our CC swiped, we would have left and slept in the car as an improvement!

When checking out I was talking to the manager and she was very helpful and nice. She told me that they had been working hard to get the place back in good shape and get it cleaned.

As expected, there was no breakfast setup this morning which was not explained at check in. This was one of the reasons we chose this location. Also, there was no bill under the door so I have no clue what was charged.

There isn't a lot the staff can do about the older furniture or carpet, other than try to keep it clean. If the reviews concern you I would ask to see the room first, but I found the bed, and pillows comfortable, and clean. I have stayed in much worse. For a place to stop and sleep it wasn't bad, and I would stay again.

Absolutely horrible. Pulled up to see construction, thought the place was closed. Price was marked down due to construction however the room was just awful!!! Stains on the floor next to the bed, stains on the sheets, bathroom was definitely not clean, no way I'd shower in there, and there was a mouse strolling the floor. It was so bad that we slept with all of our clothes on. I wish we would have kept driving instead of stopping and paying that place.

Econo Lodge is currently under construction. Not much semi parking available, but does have the capability of semi parking within walking distance and limited curbside street parking.
